On September 8 we moved Ryan and Crystal into their new house in Harrison Township. \u00a0It’s a roomy place on a quiet dirt road, with woods nearby and the Clinton River and marinas just a few houses down the road. \u00a0We’ve made progress, but there’s still lots to do.<\/p>\n

On the plus side, everything is moved in, the refrigerator is cold, and Daryl cleaned the carpet. \u00a0(Thanks so much, Daryl!) \u00a0On the minus side, the house was vacant for nearly 2 years, so the pipes had frozen and split in dozens of locations. \u00a0Al helped us find a plumber, and repairs are under way. \u00a0The furnace motor needs replacement, too. \u00a0Those things should be fixed shortly.<\/p>\n

It’s a nice house in a nice neighborhood, and the curvy ride along South River Road gives the impression of being in a rural area. \u00a0Congrats, Ryan and Crystal!<\/p>\n
