Winterfest 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There was no shortage of snow for this year&#8217;s Winterfest in Alden. \u00a0I was the last to arrive, heading north late Friday after my return from a week in Austin, Texas. \u00a0Aside from Deb and I, this year&#8217;s event was attended by Al, Becky and Joe, Justin, and Maggie and Andrew.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday was spent at Schuss Mountain, where Joe decided to try a snowboard instead of his usual skis. \u00a0After a few spills, he found his footing and did well. \u00a0Like our other gatherings, the weekend went by too quickly.<\/p>\n<div
