With the temps in the 40s and 50s for much of the past week, the snow has mostly melted. The lake is a slushy greenish-gray landscape now, and the ATC tracks made 3 weeks ago are now just watery ruts. With the forecast calling for sunshine and temps in the 50s all week, the lake should open up by the weekend.
It’s time to get ready for Spring.
