During a quick Labor Day drive into Bellaire, we encountered a beautiful Bald Eagle on the ground, to the right of the road. When we slowed down to watch, the eagle flew to the top of a Spruce tree and stayed there while our friend Al snapped a few pictures. These pictures are zoomed-in as far as Al’s camera would allow, so they lost some clarity, but are still quite interesting.

WOW!! What an awesome sight. I don’t think ive ever seen one in real life.
The Bald Eagles aren’t that difficult to find up there, especially around the lakes. I see 3 or 4 each year.
