There was no shortage of snow for this year’s Winterfest in Alden. I was the last to arrive, heading north late Friday after my return from a week in Austin, Texas. Aside from Deb and I, this year’s event was attended by Al, Becky and Joe, Justin, and Maggie and Andrew.
Saturday was spent at Schuss Mountain, where Joe decided to try a snowboard instead of his usual skis. After a few spills, he found his footing and did well. Like our other gatherings, the weekend went by too quickly.
