Last month we finally covered the ugly concrete foundation in Alden with stone. We settled on a blend of two styles of stone from The Concrete Service in Traverse City, and the mason did the whole job in a little over a week.
The grape vines on the side of the house didn’t survive the winter, and since the lattice was originally put up to hide the foundation, all that came down.
Now that the stone is in, we can actually get some basic landscaping done. One step at a time.
Beautiful! The cottage/house is now complete!
