On this sunny day before Easter, I finished the 1965 Honda engine. It took me longer than I had expected, but the engine is now ready to be installed in the frame. Since I’ve not yet started the body work, it’ll be a month or two before the engine is mounted. I also received word from the tire manufacturer that the wide whitewall tires will be delayed until June 1, 2012. That’s the fourth delay with the tire order, so I might end up getting a cheap set of black tires to use temporarily if the bike is ready before the whitewalls arrive.
